Blood On Their Hands?
(Walmart and The Gap)

Is that the blood of underpaid Bangladeshis
That's staining the T-shirt you bought at Walmart or The Gap
How'd they explain it? They called it tie-dying?
Dying was involved in a deadly deathtrap!

What has been needed? What's been required?
What's been so difficult to be acquired?
Safer working conditions for the deceased?
Dictatorial employment done away with and ceased?

Why are some balking? Why can't they agree?
It's too late for thousands. That's plain to see.
But signing up now is at least a start
To showing the world just who has a heart.

Refine the agreement at a later date,
But some kind of action simply can't wait.
Get with the program. Don't hesitate.
Another accident, you'll be at least one victim too late.
