Despite her recent loss,
is resolute and undeterred.
CEO Lloyd Blankfein says,
though Goldman Sachs has slumped,
He doubts that's the main reason
her hubby, Jeremiah, jumped.
A leap from forty stories up
is not to be laughed at.
He still was recognizable,
albeit rather flat.
Lloyd and New York's Times concur
that Goldman's well connected
With lots of high placed friends,
though none is now suspected.
So they assume J.A.'s concern,
and now that of his wife,
Was how transparency, The Times calls for,
would change their way of life.
Revealing where TARP dollars go:
to whom and how they're spent,
Threatens Goldman's ethos:
spending to one's heart's content.
But with Hubby's golden parachute –
for which he never pulled the cord –
You'll find her nibs at Cartier's.
