Check Out Your Doctor Before your checkup Are you shopping for a doctor? Check out his credentials first. He may not be the very best, but why waste money on the worst? All doctors weren't created equal. Some are klutzes. Some are not. Not until you interview him will you know which kind you've got. You wouldn't hire an electrician without a reference or two, So when you hire a new physician, insist upon an interview. Ask how many former patients he has lost this year and last? Were some just disgruntled? Has he a clue to why some passed? Would you let him babysit your teenage daughter for a week If you weren't a governor whose PR is up the creek? Negotiate a free autopsy just in case he guesses wrong. Your next of kin might not collect but you don't want him to for long.
