Enthusiasm for Obama's pitch lasted Perhaps, if you stretch it, a year at the most. He said we could, but it turned out he couldn't. The toaster he compromised with turned him to toast. Bipartisanship in D.C.? Who's kidding whom? He and his idiots found out it's not there. The opposition's announced its intentions. They don't plan to compromise. Don't really care. Obama stopped leading us. Where did he go? We hired him to advocate, not try to make nice. But when they found that Obama was chicken. Though not yet a lame duck - their answer's "No dice." And now that he is they are twice as determined To get him to see things entirely their way. And if he won't, to Hell with the nation. There's no way that a chicken is going to make hay. Forget mediation. We can win if he'll lead. Only corporate fat cats love this status quo. If we boycott the bastards who've moved jobs to Asia, A lot fewer of them would get up and go. "Made in the U.S. of A." has certain ring to it – The promise of jobs for those who work here. Then if we tax those off-shore tax havens, Boehner might stop his whining and drink his dad's beer.
