Obama's Gulf War –
Gambling In The Gulf
With Salazar's regulators

You won't find Ken Salazar panning the White House.
He and his flunkies don't dare criticize.
They saw what it took to can Stan McChrystal -
Well publicized sniggers that trigger goodbyes.

Lousy decisions and heads in the sand?
Easily overlooked; par for the course.
Excuses to pander to drill baby drillers
Make rules simpler to bend than they are to enforce.

Russian Roulette for endangered species?
Salazar's aides have been OK with that.
One chance in six for the brown pelican
Are odds Fish and Wildlife were quick to jump at.

But what are the odds that Ken Salazar stays?
How long can he kiss ass and be overlooked
As a pawn of the drillers defrauding the public,
Helping make sure all oil leases are booked

Irregardless of whether available skimmers
For future well blowouts are now being used?
What are the odds of two spilling concurrently?
As good as our seeing drill permits refused?
