A political party that could shut down the nation Became Grover's goal as a lad of fourteen. Think of the anguish incarcerating him then Could have saved us and the world by destroying that gene. Who would have thought he'd find that many veggies So anxious to serve him by signing his Pledge, That forty years later they all would be willing To push Wall Street's bankers from the nearest ledge? How lucky for Grover that Tea Party dreams Could mesh with his own at an opportune time When Wall Street had already shot itself in the foot, And before Dr. Warren could determine which crime Would put them away before any could jump. And jump they will when the nation can't pay Its bills because Grover won't let Congress raise taxes. He'll never let "Impure thoughts" stand in their way. So what if Wall Street begins to rain brokers. Derivative traders will prob'ly jump first. How can we convince them to take Grover with them? Is there no way to do it? Maybe if they rehearsed?
