Hank Nationalized the Banks
Bipartisanship gives credit where credit is due

The genius of Paulson? He bought us two banks
knowing they'd screwed up and needed the loot.
So though he paid more than the Dow says they're worth,
it gives us the chance to give Lewis the boot.

And while we are at it why not can E. Stan
while the credit for nationalization is Hanks?
Obama and Geithner won't need to consider
the need to explain the term "aggregate banks"

To Boehner and Cantor who'd quicly find fault,
but can't when their hero, Greenspan, has OK'd
The knee jerk reactions supported by Bushie –
the fait accompli we see Hank Paulson made.

What was his intent? Were results accidental?
Did they stem from his need to show Lehman who's boss?
Whatever, who'd argue he was not instrumental
and would not credit him with the stockmarket's loss?

Hank and the market wiped out most shareholders.
Citi and BofA shares went to Hell.
The only ones buying are traders and flippers.
You're a stubborn investor? Kiss your money farewell.
