He Never Saw It Coming
(The Exxon CEO's Shortsightedness)

Rex Tillerson's wondering what Exxon's huge size has meant
In the battle of giants for world domination.
Has he been overconfident of his superiority
Because he holds the U.S, Congress in complete subjugation?

So he and his Oil Mafia peers pay fewer taxes
Than robber barons of a similar bent.
What good is that if when he is thirsty
He still has to pay Nestle its mark up of 2000 percent?

It hurts his pride that he pays through the nose
For Nestle's water and all food GMOs
He, the former king of the CEO clan,
Waited too long till it all hit the fan.

Dragged his feet on renewables and now it's too late.
The offshore locations for his windmills are gone
Now that Nestle is bottling all the world's seas
There's nothing to float Exxon's windmills upon

With the seas full of plastic bottles that no longer are full.
Where else could Nestle find large enough dumps?,
Never thinking of Rex and his sea-going tankers,
Confronted with plastic and taking his lumps.
