"Keeping Banks Smaller"

(Reducing their likelihood of failure)

Your bank CEO makes more than a million?
Must be your bank has gotten too big.
Divvy it up. Split up the behemoth.
Make it more human and less of a pig.

What's that you say? You don't have a voice?
Buying a few shares won't give you a say?
Sweetie, you're dealing with the wrong kind of bank.
They don't even know you're in a family way?

Don't know your name when you make a deposit?
Don't know your name when you ask for a loan?
Don't know that you are a small local farmer
Or how many tractors and trucks you now own?

Not only don't know but don't give a damn.
To them you are nothing but another number.
Instead of "Good Morning," expect the childhood greeting,
"What's your number, cucumber?"

As a shareholder, give chief piggy the ax.
Get two bamks with two minds for the price of one.
His salad days with you as his cucumber,
Like Jamie's and Lloyd's, are over and done.
