An entertainer? Too crude, and a purveyor of lies. Does "Freedom of Speech" give Rush Limbaugh carte blanche To shout "Fire" in a theater when there isn't one Or laugh at the results of a nuclear avalanche For the pleasure of seeing folks buried in radiation, And his palaver as he spouts venom with no basis in fact? He thinks he's funny and he's paid lots of money For lying to listeners who're unaware it's an act. Are the nutjobs who listen as nutty as Limbaugh Reinforcing the delusion of a world gone to Hell, Feeding their fears and their paranoia? Is he or are they more deserving of a padded cell? And maybe not padded, but panelled with rusty barbed wire, Not just on the walls, but the floor as well. Freedom of speech no longer, just a living Hell. And more painful for sure than "Ready, Aim, Fire." Does Rush have a brain tumor or is he just evil? A fat wicked witch from a forest primeval? With a very loud mouth and an enormous belly? Thank goodness he's on radio and not on my telly.
