Some Senators seem more concerned with their chances For re-election than they are in cutting a deal. McConnell's "Plan B" scares the hell out of McCaskill! Three votes against defaults and she'll lose her appeal? If she can't take the heat, get her out of the kitchen. Shouldn't the nation's reputation come first? So she has to work harder to be re-elected. Must we give a damn if her bubble has burst? The nation's concerned with the country defaulting, But not Claire McCaskill. By naming a courthouse She's hoping she, too, will be fondly remembered… Yeah, for destroying our means of supporting a spouse If she won't agree to "Plan B, C or D" Because there's a chance they'll help end her career. If her self-indulgence results in a default, Let's do what we can to throw her out on her ear. Ditto for all of those Freshman Extremists Who think God intended for them to destroy The federal government while they are preserving What's left of the country's tax-free hoi polloi.
