Pay 2000%
(Markup)

Oh, no! Did you drink Arkansas River Water
That Nestle conveniently bottled for you?
Did they indicate on the label which stream it was from?
One in which the local gentry had recently swum

With their dogs, pigs and mules during their latest dought?
When the outhouse tipped over and drained itself out?
Did Nestle screen out most sewage in the bottling process
Did what got past them affect the taste?
Nestle brags that with their brand of privatization
Not a single drop can possibly go to waste.

More healthful they claim than what comes from the tap?
If so does that warrant their markup of 2000%?
Bathe or do dishes with their bottled water
And start to wonder where your budget went.
And unless you refrigerate it, the stuff usually is hotter
Than from underground pipes like your local tap water.

Clogging landfills with plastic is Nestle's "green" contribution?
Tap water users avoid that kind of pollution.
Isn't it time to legislate a strict cap
On how much they can pollute? Let's get back to the tap!
