Ten Percent Down?
(With the rest on completion)

Campaign contributions to pay them were huge,
But they're just a down payment till they've done the repeal.
The insurers don't trust them. They've watched for two years
And just saying, "No" isn't that big a deal.

But what do these private insurers expect
The minions of Boehner and Cantor to do?
A symbolic repeal of healthcare reform
With barely a hint we'll get anything new?

Are they that out of touch with what's going on?
Polls show we the people do want more reform,
And a lot less of Blue Cross's old same old same old.
Do they really have no one with whom to brainstorm?

Someone to offer constructive suggestions?
Or has anything new been expressly forbid?
Are private insurers afraid to take chances
After what Darrel Issa reportedly did?

How sad for Boehner what with his reputation,
But isn't that what we've all come to expect?
No wonder his team's getting paid in installments
That so far have been so damn hard to collect.
