Thinkin' It's The Pits
Expressing disdain for Republican reactions by singing
"Puttin' On The Ritz" with Fred Astaire

Why do these Republicans
Fault a larger show of hands
For a health care plan that gets
Passed in spite of all their threats
And procrastinating ploys,
Turning folks off with their noise?
So they can offend until the very end.

We love watching John McCain
And his troops go down the drain,
Screaming, crying "We was robbed"
Though they made sure they hobnobbed
With 'most ev'ry Blue Cross creep,
Who "can't buy our votes that cheap."
Stupid twits!
Party's on the fritz!

Why would Orrin Hatch be this unhappy?
Maybe someone needs to change his nappy –
Very snappy!

Who would kick if Blue Crosses got to pick
Which of our tickers won't need first aid kits –
Or it quits?

Boehner's negativity's been stunning
With his pancake makeup off and running –
Very cunning!

You will find that come November
It's a pleasure to remember
Who called it quits
And's on the fritz
Thinkin' it's the pits.
