Suppose a Democrat ever had the idea He should have an idea about innocent girls, Concerned with their rights and hot summer nights, Would they be seventeen And wild for Howard Dean? Or could a Democrat also have the idea He should have an idea about more mature gals, Who are, quote unquote, old enough to vote, Well, at least twenty one, Who'll know that Dean is done? Why would that Democrat with the better idea Now squander that idea? Doesn't he know that Dean should go Along with Lieberman, Kerry, Kennedy and Gore And prob'ly many more Whose concern's to stay alive While they act ninety-five? But now the days grow short On what could be a good year To kick Republicans in their vulnerable cans Although the public is more and more pro life. Yet with Democratic dregs on their wobbly legs, Who still have no idea of what we want to hear, It might not be that good a year.
