Merck Pays Off For Some
(Sung to the tune "Brother, Can You Spare A Dime?")

We've endangered thousands with Vioxx.
They claim that it's a crime.
Though some side effects were on the box,
Some of us may do some time.

We were warned of problems long ago:
Heart attacks too much of the time.
But we at Merck were making lots of dough;
This was no nickel and dime.

Profits? They exploded through the roof.
Vioxx was the Budweiser drug.
We were Wall Street darlings, then kerpoof,
When we had to pull the plug.

So we voted ourselves huge rewards.
We are executive slime.
We stand to add millions to our hoards.
We love Bush white collar crime.
